Marilyn Fuller Delong - August 9, 1944 – Nov 23, 2019. She was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Mae Millard & Pinkie Fuller.
After attending St Luke’s Nursing School to earn her RN, she traveled to Long Beach, California and said it felt like she’d “found home.” She lived there most of the rest of her life. She later earned her BSN and M.A. She worked in hospitals, worked as a consultant to the U.S. Dept of Labor, taught nursing, and wrote numerous healthcare-related articles, CE courses, and a book.
She was also politically active trying to make the world a better place by demonstrating and working for politicians she believed in.
She is survived by her heart-broken daughter, Christine. She loved animals, cooking, & baseball.
