Koppes, Mary Lou, 86, of Peoria, AZ passed away on May 4, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born in Bellevue, IA to CV and Teresa Daugherty; one of 12 children. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Dorrence and children Catherine (James) McAuliffe, Susann (Clayton) George, Karen (Donald) Abraham, Glenna (Daniel) Burmeister, Mark (Donna) Koppes, Michael (Kathie) Koppes and Elizabeth (Brad) Cohen, 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mary Lou has 3 remaining sisters; Helen Mulligan, Sr. Gertrude Daugherty, Sr. Betts Daugherty and 6 sisters in law, 2 brothers in law. She is preceded in death by grandson, Timothy McAuliffe. She will be missed by her family, who with her husband put their children on a great path in life.
