Morris Ratliff

Morris (Morrie) Lexie Ratliff, 78 passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Saturday evening February 20th, 2016, He is preceded in death by his parents Marion & Stella Ratliff, and sisters Josie & Gladys and brother Dorsey, as well as grandchildren Rhonda, Chelsey & Michael. Morris is survived by his beloved brother Everett (Bill) Ratliff & his wife Dawn. His children; Debbie Shepherd (Bob), Brenda Ratliff, Gail Ratliff (Dave), Randy Ratliff (Brenda) and Terry Ratliff (Leslie). (In laws) Danny Shepherd, Alfredo (Fred) Gomez, Jimmy Snellen and Wes Kiehl. He is survived by 13 grandchildren, (James, Julie, Jeremy, Cliff, Christy, Nikki, Paul, Amy, Mike, Michael, Randy, Shane & Andrew) & 24 great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and friends whom he loved with all his heart. Morris was born in Lexington Kentucky on December 19, 1937. He was raised in Wisconsin and retired from Advance Transportation as a dockworker for Teamsters in Milwaukee. He was a wonderful Dad, Grandpa, Brother & Uncle. An avid hunter, fisherman and a die hard Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan. He loved his best friend & baby Rocky. They were inseparable. Morrie was a kind gentle soul who was funny and would often quote the 3 Stooges, Donald Duck and Archie Bunker. If you were ever to ask him if he loved all his family and friends, his answer would most certainly be (Why Soitenly) He will be forever loved and missed. Until we meet again RIP Dad Graveside services will be held on Saturday February 27th at 3:00 pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Republic MO ​Officiating Bro. Bryce Parker
