NICK CHRISTOFF

Nick Christoff of Sun City, AZ Formerly of Portage, IN Nick Christoff, Age 90, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born to Nick Christoff Sr. and Mary Christoff on December 30, 1920 in East Chicago IN, Nick Christoff leaves his devoted wife; Frieda Christoff, loving children; Don Christoff and Brad Christoff, loving grandchildren; Dana Titzler, Donny Christoff Jr., Becky Christoff and Nicole Wilson, eight loving great-grandchildren...and a host of other loving family members. Nick graduated from Lew Wallace High School and Purdue University. Nick faithfully and honorably served his country in the US Army from 1943 to 1946. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Hammon, IN, and a member of the Elks Lodge in Apache Junction, AZ Nick was a lifetime member of UBC Millwrights Local 1043 and worked as a power plant superintendant. He also was an instructor at Ivy Tech Community College. Visitation wil be on Thursday March 24, 2011 from 10 to 11 a.m. with the Celebration of the Life of Nick Christoff to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Main Chapel at the Ridgelawn Funeral Home, 4201 West Ridge Road, Gary, IN 46408 (219) 980-5555. Burial with Full Military Honors will be at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Gary, IN. Nick will be deeply missed by his loving wife, devoted family and dear friends. God Grant Him Eternal Rest.
