Nora Jean Massie 1937-2020 Nora J. Crisp Massie, 82, of Sun City, Arizona, departed this life Sunday, May 31, 2020, to begin life anew with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ following her battle with pancreatic cancer. Born November 30, 1937, at Besoco, WV, she was the daughter of the late Willie Crisp and Edith Griffith Crisp. Nora loved westerns, West Virginia, and her family. She was a homemaker, billing specialist, and a Sunday School teacher. She was preceded in death by her brother, Elmer Crisp, and her sister, JoAnn Crisp Gibson, and her niece, Debbi Crisp Collins. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Lonnie L Massie; her children, Laura L Valenzuela (Rafael) of Henderson, NV; Janet M Schulze of Phoenix, AZ; and Rodney E Massie (Chantel) of Jackson, WI; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Service will be at 10 am on Friday, June 5, 2020 at First Baptist Church Sun City, 11019 W Peoria Ave, Sun City, AZ 85351. Burial will follow at Sunland Memorial Park, Sun City, AZ.
