Patrick Joseph Chik, 65 of Sun City, AZ passed away March 9, 2015 Pat was the loving husband of Linda Mckelvy Chik. Brother of Raymond (Terry) Chik, and Joann (Jerry) Gross. He is also survived by daughters, Leslie Chik, Jennifer Jarman, son Caleb Chik and step sons; Jeffery McKelvy and Ian (Lesha) McKelvy, six grandchildren, many Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Iris Chik and two nephews. Patrick was born and grew up in Denver, Colorado. He was proud of his military service in the US Navy. He was a railroad engineer for CSX Transportation for 33 years in Virginia; served as President of the local Brotherhood of Local Engineers (BLE) Union and was especially proud of his many years of work with Operation Redblock, the drug and alcohol prevention program for CSX. After his retirement and move to Sun City AZ in 2011, Pat worked as a school bus driver for a Deer Valley Unified School District, and was a driver for two senior living facilities. He was an avid golfer, loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and horseback riding. 22 years FOB.
