McGuire, Paul L. 86, of Sun City West, Az., was delivered into the arms of the Lord on October, 2, 2012. He was born in Sioux City, Iowa to Samuel and Maude McGuire on August 20, 1926. Before and after serving honorably in the Naval Air Force during WWII, Paul led a varied life as a ranch hand, musician, factory worker and maintenance crew foreman. In addition he worked at Mountain Bell in the telecommunications and development field for 39 years. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his wife Julia, daughter Sharon Schwartz, stepdaughter Judie Adrian and her husband Merle, stepson Donald Adrian and his wife Lucinda, stepson Robert White and his wife Peggy, stepdaughter Debbie Mason and her husband Doug, 11grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Paul enjoyed reading, music, dancing, sports, fishing, bowling, golf, and card playing. His quiet humor and selfless generosity will be greatly missed by all. Memorial services will be held at Church on the Green, 19051 N. R H Johnson Blvd., Sun City West, on Thursday, October 11 at 10 am. Burial will be Friday, October 12, at 1:00 pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of Az.
