Peter Bayardi

Peter John ‘Pete’ Bayardi - Passed away peacefully on November 22, 2016 at age 78. Pete was an amazing and beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Maureen; his daughters Maria and Marianne; daughter-in-law Jenni; and six grandchildren, Brandon, Elizabeth, Bryan, Benjamin, Zachary and Ella. Pete was born on April 14, 1938 in Wheeling, West Virginia and was raised in Ohio. At age 18, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served honorably. After the Marines, he worked in computer operations and lived in Chicago, IL until a job transfer brought Pete and his family to Phoenix in 1971. Pete loved the outdoors, physical activities, animals, reading, watching his grandkids grow and being with his family. In his later years he was involved with local politics and was a true patriot. Memorial Mass will be held on December 28, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 10815 N. 35th Ave., Phoenix with a reception to follow.
