<p>Robert Brown, 58 passed away Friday, January 8th at Thunderbird Hospital in Glendale Arizona. </p><p>He is survived by Joann Pell, his wife of 30 years, his sons Casey and Riley, his sister Phyllis Brown of Glastonbury, CT, Barbara Brown-Lewis of Costa Rica and many friends, both personal and professional.</p><p><br></p><p>Born and raised in Hartford Connecticut, the son of Hugh and Janet Brown, Robert attended South Catholic High where he graduated in 1975.</p><p><br></p><p>He later attended ASU where he majored in Education. He taught Physical Education in The Mesa School District and later taught first grade at Bicentennial Elementary in Glendale Arizona. He was loved by all his students and colleagues. </p><p><br></p><p>There will be a viewing on Thursday, January 14th from 7-9 pm at Regency Mortuary, 9850 W. Thunderbird Boulevard, Sun City. A funeral mass will be held at St. Helen’s Catholic Church, 5510 W. Cholla Street, Glendale at 10 am on Friday. Robert loved to hike and his time hiking the Grand Canyon was always special. Robert Brown, 58 passed away Friday, January 8th at Thunderbird Hospital in Glendale Arizona.

He is survived by Joann Pell, his wife of 30 years, his sons Casey and Riley, his sister Phyllis Brown of Glastonbury, CT, Barbara Brown-Lewis of Costa Rica and many friends, both personal and professional.
