Robert Ernst Newhouse, 89, passed away peacefully February 26 at his daughter's home in Peoria, Arizona surrounded by his family. Born on October 11, 1930 in Syracuse NY to Hazel and Chauncey Newhouse, Robert was an avid member of the Past Time Club for over 40 years, and in his free time enjoyed bowling, golfing, and the occasional horse races. He will be remembered best for his sense of humor, stopping by with a loaf of fresh Italian bread on Sundays, Happy Birthday wishes, as a longtime SU fan, and the occasional “good grief”. Robert is predeceased by his second wife Donna Martynski Newhouse, first wife Sally Hennessy Newhouse and brother Chauncey Newhouse. Robert is survived by his three daughters Amy Deadman, Lori (Jacob) Ulatowski, Mary Beth Iannolo; John (Debbie) Martynski, and Michelle Dailey; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren with two more on the way. Our family would love for you to celebrate Robert in your own way, like we did on the night he passed with watching the SU game and eating pizza and wings.
