Sabas Benevidas Sanchez

Sabas B. Sanchez, 76, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015, in Glendale, Arizona, of natural causes.<br><br>He was born on August 11, 1939, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Ben and Irene Sanchez.<br><br>He graduated high school in 1964 from Roy Miller High School and later received an Associated degree from Santa Anna Community College.<br><br>He is a veteran of the United States Marines Corps and a Teamster for 32 years.<br><br>Sabas happily retired after 32 years from a grocery warehouse in Southern California. He has lived in Corpus Christi, TX, Santa Ana, CA, Ontario, CA, Clearfield, UT, and Phoenix, AZ.<br><br>He enjoyed golf, yard sales, was a connoisseur of antique shopping and senior activities. He was big hearted, impatient, loveable, opinionated, sweet toothed and enjoyed his food and drink.<br><br>Sabas was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalinda Sanchez; son Michael Sanchez, and his parents.<br><br>He is survived by his son Andrew Sancehz, daughter Lucinda Irene Sanchez Balcerzak, and daughter Rosa S. Martinez. Sabas is also survived by his Grandchildren Amanda Nicole Sanchez (Baker), Arwen Rose Sanchez, and Jonathan Matthew Balcerzak.
