Starlene Welsh Obituary

Starlene Gay Welsh of Phoenix, died May 8th 2014 after a year long illness. She was born April 5th, 1941 in Mt. Gilead, Ohio. She attended Madison High School in Mansfield, Ohio. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1992. She married the late Charles "Doc" Welsh in 1993. Everyone that knew "Star" would usually be taken in by her easy way and warm smile. A gentle soul that made those around her feel comfortable. She loved to read the bible and listen to gospel music. She was a huge fan of the Cleveland Indians and Arizona Diamondbacks baseball teams. Star is survivied by her sons Russell White of Peoria, Arizona and Timothy White of Weatherford, Texas. She is also survived by her four grandchildren. Jason White and his wife Amy of Oregon City, Oregon, Andrew White and his wife Nicole of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, Krystal White of Phoenix, Arizona and Zachary White of Peoria, Arizona.In addition she is survived by her two brothers. Ray White of Colorado and Wayne White of Ohio. The family would like to say thank you to Chasity Marks for all of her love and care to "Miss Star" during her illness. The memorial service will be on Friday, May 23rd at 430 PM in the common room at Stonecreek Village Apartments 13420 N 21st Pl Phoenix, AZ 85022 (602) 788-0993 You may send flowers at this address as well.
