WILLIAM KOBOLD

William Carl Kobold, 73, of New River, Arizona, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013. Bill is survived by his wife Louise of 52 years, sons Michael, Mitchell, Matthew and Marcus, brothers Donald and Charles, 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and extended family. Bill was devoted, compassionate and loving to them all. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents William and Regina; brothers Jerry, John and Clete and sister Pat. Bill worked for The United States Postal Service for 42 years and ended his career as a Maintenance Engineer Specialist. He was a skilled mechanic and carpenter who enjoyed hunting and fishing, traveling and four-wheeling. Bill was always there to help and teach his friends and family; his life lessons will continue on forever. A special thank you to Father Val Boyle and Mission of the Good Shepherd for their unending support. Also, thank you to Hospice of the Valley for their loving care and Regency Mortuary for all of the arrangements. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Mission of the Good Shepherd, 45033 North 12th Street, New River, Arizona 85087. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to William C. Kobold, 10511 West Villa Chula, Peoria, Arizona 85383 to be distributed to Mission of the Good Shepherd.
