GREANY, Agnes A., formerly of Jacksonville, Florida and more recently, a resident of Tucson, Arizona, died peacefully on August 13, 2011. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 31, 1916. Agnes was a long time employee of Carolina Casualty and an active member of the Insurance Women of America. Preceded in death by her husband, John Greany. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Wallace of San Clemente California and her son-in-law, Thomas Frederick Wallace and Joyce Stewart of Tucson; granddaughters, Emily Wallace (Michael) Ewing of Gilbert, AZ and Andrea Wallace (Brian) Walker of Irvine, California; grandson, Sean Malcolm Stewart of Tucson, Arizona. Agnes is also survived by great- granddaughters, Megan Elizabeth, Aubrey Grace and Allison Clare Ewing. A celebration of life took place at Mountain View Retirement Center in Tucson on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 and she will be interred at Jacksonville Memorial Gardens at a later date. Donations may be made to Casa De La Luz Hospice, 400 W. Magee, Tucson, AZ 85704. Arrangements entrusted to ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel (742-7901).
