Alice Clark Obituary

Alice "Al" Hutchins Clark 95, lived a memorable and unique life from January 15, 1917 to August 5, 2012. She grew up in Concord, MA where she attended Concord Academy and Winsor School. She studied at Bennington College in VT, and earned her teaching degree at Western New Mexico University. Al and Elton "Skip" Clark, a mining engineer, were married in 1940 and headed west to mining country. They lived and worked in California, Nevada, New Mexico, Wyoming and Arizona. Besides her family, her greatest loves were teaching, reading, skiing, golfing and traveling. Al's long life and strong, quick wit influenced many children and adults. Al will be missed by her children, Charlotte C. Stewart, Boulder, CO, Elton Clark Jr. (Josephine), Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Christina Kane, Jennifer Crosby, Andrew Clark, and Josephine Clark and four great-grandchildren. Her life will be celebrated at a private family service. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel.
