Amanda Taylor Lund 10/4/1994 - 11/23/2012 How do you write an obituary for someone you expect to burst through the door any minute and throw down her backpack, kick off her shoes and challenge her brother to a game on the XBOX? Amanda was a senior at Cienega high school and in her short 18 years on this earth, Amanda did a lifetime of living. She traveled to Europe and Hawaii. She played nearly every sport there is from soccer and softball to swimming and volleyball and was even the only girl on an all boys tackle football team. Riding quads brought her closer to her friends, spending hours discovering beautiful desert locations in Tucson and Sonoita, and conquering every hill or mountain on the way. Amanda loved camping, hiking, shopping, ghost hunting, trucks and country music. She never missed watching a beautiful sunset. But most of all, she loved her friends and family. She is pre-deceased by her grandfather, Luther Robinson; her uncle, Craig and cousin, Mackenzie. She leaves behind her parents, Robert and Kristin Lund; her best friend and brother, Justin; her grandparents, Carolyn Robinson and Ray and Helga Lund; her uncle, Kyle and aunt, Darlene Robinson and cousins, Jacob, Aaron and Kennedy; her uncle, Ray and aunt, Gina Lund and cousins, Sammie and Frankie; and her aunt, Becky and cousin, Christopher. Along with many friends, great-aunts and uncles and cousins across the country. The hole that is left in our hearts and our lives is too big to ever be filled. We will miss her every minute of every day. A Memorial Service will be held at Cienega High School in the cafeteria on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Katz Be Kind Program at Cienega high school to benefit students in need.
