Anna Hart

Anna "Doris" Hart aged 77, died November 15, 2012 surrounded by family after a courageous battle with pain and illness. Doris was born March 20, 1935 in Bertrand, MO and was the third of 11 children. Survived by her beloved husband, Jim; adored daughter, Nicki (Carl); grandchildren, C.C. (Brandy) and Sean (Ronna); four great-grandchildren, two sisters and four brothers as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents and four sisters. Doris fought a lifelong devastating disease, Polycystic Kidney Disease culminating in a kidney transplant (donated by son-in-law Carl) in 2005. Despite enduring constant pain every day for the last six years, Doris was devoted to caring for Jim. Her family and her friends meant everything to her. One of the great joys in her life was her house and yard, she worked tirelessly to landscape and decorate. She was compassionate, stubborn, loyal and will be missed beyond comprehension. There is a special place in heaven for this wonderous woman. A Celebration of Doris' life will be at her home (please contact 403-6063 for directions) on Sunday, November 25, 2012, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in her honor to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
