Beatriz Tellez Jimenez, 81, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, in Tucson, AZ. Native Tucsonan, born September 12, 1931. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a strong belief in God. Was active in the community. Her love of gardening has been passed on to her children. She was brave in her fight against ovarian cancer. She is survived by her spouse, Gilbert E. Jimenez; her children, Patricia Weaver (John), Cynthia Garcia, Diane Jimenez, Lillian Jimenez; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Gilbert A. Jimenez. Funeral Mass and Visitation will be held at St. Augustine Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave., on Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Visitation at 10:00 a.m. and Mass at 10:30 a.m. Reception following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society in her name. Arrangements by Adair Funeral Home, Dodge Chapel.
