Bertram Loeb
Bertram Loeb Born on June 10, 1918 and passed away on January 30, 2013. He is survived by his daughter, Janet Loeb; his son, John Loeb; his former son-in-law, Sidney Wolitzky and four grandchildren. Bert got his bachelor's degree at C.C.N.Y. in 1937 and his Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Florida in 1990 at the age of 72. He was committed to social justice and was amazingly knowledgeable in many fields of study. At the age of 90 he wrote a wonderful science fiction novel. He was loved and hugely respected by many.
