Bob Grant Obituary

Bob Grant 84, passed peacefully March 13, 2015. Loving husband, dad, G-pa and great G-pa, preceded by wife of 59 years, Patty. Bob is survived by four children, Tracey of Arkansas, Rocky, Scotty and Ginger of Tucson. The one most recurring comment heard with respect to Bob (not golf related) was his love and devotion to Patty. His example of a loving, caring relationship is etched upon us all and is a true inspiration. Bob loved golf, playing extensively as a member of 49ers and then Rolling Hills. (5 Aces). He is now playing Pebble Beach, etc. with his golfing buddies, Glen and Harold. Or not, as Patty has two years of "news" Bob has missed and so he will sit listening silently and stoically, as was his nature, before heading to the first tee. We smile with you Dad. Bob disliked peanut butter, catsup, and movies (except golf movies). LOVED slots, bingo, diet pepsi, crispy chocolate chip cookies and bacon, banana splits, prime rib and crispy, crispy, crispy, (sigh) crispy, crispy french fries. Always five crispies. He taught his children a love of bird hunting, camping, golf, value of working hard and the Grant burp (followed by Mom's.."ooooh Bob!") With his relatives from back East, his golfing buddies around Tucson, and his wide extended family, we will miss you and we LOVED YOU DEARLY. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
