Carey Bunker

BUNKER, Carey Allan Jr. Died on February 16, 2017, a week after his birthday at age 93, after a long battle with cancer, survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Elfriede; son, Carey A. Bunker III and wife Lisa; daughter, Laurie Bunker and granddaughters, Devin and Torin Grier. Allan served briefly in WWII before being medically discharged. He graduated from the UofA with MA degrees in English and Spanish and taught for 34 years in in our Tucson public High Schools. He will be interred in Oregon, MO, in the cemetery of several generations of his ancestors. The family wishes to thank the devoted nursing staff of St. Mary's Carondelet Hospice and Palliative Care, and especially Helen Lundgren who could always cheer him up. You will be sorely missed.
