Carmin Huisinga Obituary

HUISINGA, Carmin Louise Fonner Carmin Louise Fonner Huisinga passed away peacefully on June 8, 2016. Carmin was born in DeLand, Ill., July 4, 1921. She was the only child of Paul "doc" and Molly Fonner. She graduated from Wesleyan College in 1943 in Bloomington Ill., and then taught school. During W.W. II, she worked in Indianapolis at the Insulin Manufacturing Dept. for Eli Lilly Co. She loved to dance, play the trumpet and had a quick wit and wry sense of humor. Carmin was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Huisinga, her daughter, Nancy Breneman; granddaughters, Tricia and Brandy Mendoza and her beloved grandson, Michael Jeffery Ellis. A Celebration of Carmin's Life will be held at Grace St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, located at 2331 E. Adams St. Tucson, AZ 85719. Memorials can be made in Carmin Huisinga's name to Peppi's House (T.M.C. Hospice). Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
