Carol McVay Grossetta. Carol left us peacefully in the early morning of Sunday, April 14, 2013. Born April 30, 1954, at the Ellsworth AFB Hospital, Rapid City, ND, to Lt Col Myron McVay and Eleanor McVay, Carol grew up in a variety of locations until settling permanently in Tucson (where her parents had met). She attended Catalina High School, graduating in 1972, and moved on to the University of Arizona. After several related jobs, Carol took a bookkeeping position at Gordon Grossetta CPA PC. She was an ace bookkeeper, payroll manager and eventually Office Manager. She also attracted the attention of Gordon, the boss, and they were happily married for more than 25 years. In addition to Gordon, Carol leaves behind Eleanor McVay, her mother; Kathy "Kate" McVay, her sister; and three nephews, whom she adored, Lance, Kurt and Brett Feightner. Also left behind are Carol's brother-in-law, Bruce Grossetta (Gail) and sister-in-law, Susy Grossetta Allen (Bill). A private Memorial Service was held Friday, April 26, 2013.
