Catherine Campbell Lewis-Haskell Our Catherine left us on Friday, November 30, 2012. Catherine was a Tucson native born on October 2, 1961. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Frederick K. Haskell; her sister, Marie Lewis-Beckett; her two nieces, Kendra and Danika Mellenberndt; her in-laws, Karen and Ray Mellenberndt, Bill and Ellen Haskell and several pets who will miss her tender care. Perhaps those who will miss her most will be her numerous friends, Elena, Della, Steve, Maurice, Nelson, Raymond, Bill Wertz, Zippy and others too numerous to list. She always said, "My friends ARE my Family." She was a lifelong devoted Vegan and animal rights supporter, a fine arts and cinema lover, a standing member of P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter U, and an aficionado of University of Arizona Archaeology. Her Funeral Service will be at ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85716. The Viewing will be on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 3:30 p.m., with the formal Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. Catherine will be interred at East Lawn Palms on Grant, at the large mausoleum on the following Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Despite her numerous health issues and long suffering, she was always thinking of others. All those who knew her can attest that, she lived her life as a true Christian, always more concerned for others than for herself. She had a heart too large for this earth and she lived by the bible verse: "Forget not to show love unto strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Hebrews 13:2" Only she was our angel and now she suffers no more. Catherine ended every conversation by saying, "I love you all there is and more." Well, we all love you all there is too and will miss you dear Catherine, until we too come home. Namaste'
