Cecil James Obituary

Cecil W. James Passed away peacefully at his home on Good Friday. He was preceded in death by his wife Jane. He is survived by his son, Steve; daughter-in-law, Shirley; grandchildren, Melinda, Shawn, and, Marlena; great- grandchildren, Cade and Riena. Born in Emporia Kansas, he served in the Navy in WWII, graduated from the U of A and was a reporter for the AZ Star and Citizen. Later finding his home in Real Estate. His passions included Hawaii, history, Millie's waffles, lunch with the boys at Kon Tiki. His fondest memories were of trips to Egypt, Hawaii, and rafting the Colorado River, and Jane and dogs. In lieu of flowers donations to the Humane Society. Services will be Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Casas Adobes Congregational Church, 6801 North Oracle Road. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Avalon Chapel.
