Chad Nichols

Chad Loren Nichols passed away at his home in Tucson, Arizona the evening of March 18, 2012. He was born in Tucson on November 5, 1986, and moved with his family to Georgia when he was one year old. He was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout in Evans, Georgia. He attended local schools and graduated from Greenbrier High School in 2005. He attended Augusta Technical School majoring in Computer Science and began working for Fall Line Testing & Inspection LLC, as a Civil Engineering Technician at the Tucson Concrete Mix Design Facility, specializing in construction materials testing. After achieving four advanced certifications from the American Concrete Institute, Chad participated in a special assignment for Fall Line Testing, working on the expansion of the Panama Canal, 3rd Set of Locks Project located in Panama City, Panama. He leaves his father, Scott C. Nichols; mother, Carol Anderson Nichols; sister, Chasity Nichols Williams; grandmother, Nancy Nichols Flanagan and step-grandfather, Loren Flanagan; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and many, many friends from Arizona, Georgia and from around the world. His love of music and rock festivals will always be remembered by his friends and family. One of Chad's greatest pleasures in life was playing the guitar and bass - a love shared between father and son. Funeral Services will be held at the ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, in Tucson, Arizona on Friday, March 23, 2012 starting with a family Viewing at 9:00 a.m., friends at 10:00 a.m. and Services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, Chad will be interred beside his grandfather, Charles A. Nichols at Evergreen Cemetery. Following burial service, a reception celebrating Chad's life will be held at the home of his uncle, Alan M. Nichols.
