Charlotte Soliday Obituary

SOLIDAY, Charlotte F., born in Arcadia, WI, on December 31, 1943, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 7, 2011, following a sudden and severe battle with lymphoma. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Tim Soliday; her son, John Curtis and her daughter, Lindsey Soliday. Following her graduation from Luther College in Decorah, IA, Char was an elementary school teacher. She also held a volunteer position at the Free Clinic of Tucson, and was employed as a case worker for Big Brothers and Big Sister of Tucson. At the time of her passing, Char was a devoted housewife and a full time home school teacher to her daughter. She loved cats, hiking, traveling with family, nutrition, and talking about religion and politics. See will be greatly missed by her family and many friends in many places all over the United States. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 1:00 p.m., in the Chapel at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 7650 N. Paseo Del Norte in Tucson. A reception will be held following the service at Ironwood Elementary School, 3300 W. Freer Street. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel.
