Christina Sheldon

Christina McKill Sheldon went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 15, 2012. Born January 27, 1920 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Chriss was very proud of her Scottish heritage and made the best shortbread ever! Known as "Mother Lemmon" she spent over 50 years enjoying the beauties of Mt. Lemmon. She was happiest playing the piano, engaging in church and community activities and visiting with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 43 years, George. She is survived by her children, Barrie (Brenda), Dennis (Kathy), Christina Hansen (Jon), Rob (Tracy) and Rick and by her loving grandchildren, Tammy (Danny), Theresa, Melanie (Allan), Erica (Paul), Rachel (Dan), Evan (Trishelle) and Cameron. She was blessed with 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Chriss was loved by many and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd., at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2012. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Arivaca Christian Center, P.O. Box 134, Arivaca, AZ 85601, or to a charity of your choice .
