Clyde Wayne Leversedge Obituary

Clyde Wayne Leversedge, 82, born October 31, 1930, in Garvin, Minnesota, 44-year resident of Tucson. Passed away peacefully on July 6, 2013, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Hazel (Fedde); brothers, Robert and David; and sister, LaDonna; his children, Mark and Sandra; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Thelma (Roush); his brother, Harold; and sister, Ruth. Clyde was a Korean War Veteran, having served 21 years in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1971, at his last duty station, Davis Monthan AFB. He then served as Director of the Operating Rooms at University Medical Center for most of the next 25 years, retiring in 1995. Clyde enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, square dancing, traveling and telling a good joke. Most of all he loved his family. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013, 11:00 a.m., at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church, 710 S. Kolb Rd. in Tucson, with a reception to follow in the church facilities. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Clyde's name to The Diamond Children's Center at University Medical Center. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
