David Turcotte Tucson, Arizona Obituary

David Turcotte

David Turcotte The Family of David Turcotte known to all as "Bud" sadly announce that he recently passed away on May 29, 2011 due to complications with cancer. Bud was born in Los Angeles, California on February 20, 1922. Moved to Boston, Massachusetts as a teen and later during World War II, met his wife, Elizabeth "Betty". Bud served during the War in the U.S. Coast Guard as a Seaman Apprentice. He began as a Military Dog Training Specialist in Virginia and later served on the Destroyer Escort USS Camp and saw duty in the North Atlantic and later shipped to the Pacific. He earned the Good Conduct Medal and Campaign Ribbons: American Campaign, The European, African, Middle Eastern and The Asian Pacific. After spending most of his adult life in Holbrook, Massachusetts, he and Betty moved to Tucson, Arizona in 2003. Bud is survived by Betty; his son, Robert "Bob" and daughter-in-law, Susan along with many extended family members and friends. We are comforted in knowing he rests in peace now after a long uncomfortable battle, yet he will be most loved and missed amongst us all. It was Bud's humble wish that no memorial service be held. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
