Doris J. Strayer Born April 17, 1933, in Johnstown, PA. Died August 8, 2013, when her long struggle with MS ended. Preceded in death by parents, Ruth and Dwight Rager, and husband, James, of 57 years. Survived by absent son, Scott, CA; sister, Janice Rager, Tucson; and sister-in-law, Natalie Zerby, Johnstown, PA. Also the many relatives, special lifetime friendships, and neighbors. We want to thank Vicky, her dedicated caregiver; and all the other loyal people that have helped over the years; also Casa de la Luz Hospice. Doris excelled in sewing for herself and others and enjoyed ceramics and macramé. Former member of PA Club, MS Support Group, member of Tucson Church of the Brethren.
