HALLUMS, Earl Paul, age 90, of Tucson, passed away December 17, 2012. Earl was predeceased by his lifelong childhood sweetheart and wife, Audrey Theresa Hallums. He is survived by his two sons, Paul (Johanna) of Tucson and Robert (Hedy) of Lincoln, California and nine grandchildren. Earl's life was devoted to Audrey and family. Always putting them ahead of self, he was happiest when family or friends could spend time sharing dinner or a piece of pie, and a cup of tea. Earl was a decorated United States Army, WWII veteran who served as a Scout and Sniper. Seriously wounded in Okinawa, he returned to Michigan where he worked for General Motors prior to moving to Tucson in 1956. Here he worked for Douglas Aircraft and Tucson Unified School District prior to moving to San Leandro, California to work for Kaiser Aerospace. A prayer Service will be held at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow.
