Eddie Castillo

On Monday February 18, 2013 at 5:50pm, Eddie Elias Castillo, Jr., 78, passed away peacefully. He was born in Houston, Texas on September 2, 1934 and was proud to be a "Texican", "Californian" and most recently "Arizonan". Known to most as "Papo" and "Uncle Chicky", he is survived by Rosalie, his wife of 61 years, daughters Rebecca, Jacque and son Eddie aka "Tiger", Sons-in Law, Chris, Tony and Daughter-in Law, Lorena; his six adoring grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Lesley-Anne, Stefanie, Eric and Lucas; four great-grandchildren, Savannah, Jordan, Issac, Zayden and 2 more great-grandchildren "buns in the oven" to be, as well as, three step-great grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings Raquel (Aunt Rae), Mary (Aunt Babe) and Robert (Uncle Toby). As was his wish, he died at home with his adoring wife and three children at his bedside. All of his life, Eddie displayed an optimistic attitude and an unending devotion to his family. During his long life and professional career he was an avid "tekkie" well before that term became known and popular always enjoying the best electronic toys. He was always the man you could call at any time for any type of technical repair advice. Plain and simple "Papo" was "a very smart, good man". A Celebration of his life will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Adair Funeral Home, Dodge Chapel, Tucson AZ.
