ARNETT, Edna Irene Rose, passed to her heavenly home on February 28, 2011. Born on April 2, 1913 in Lee City, KY, she was the beloved wife of Henry E. Arnett and daughter of James and Ida Rose, all of whom preceded her in death. Following a long and stellar career as an elementary school teacher in OH, including national recognition as Outstanding Educator, she retired to Tucson in 1972. A wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, her family was her life. We were blessed with her for 97 years, and she will live and be loved in our hearts forever. Survived by Henrietta and Alfred Stover (daughter and son-in-law); Daryn Amanda Stover (granddaughter); Lacey and Patrick Gard (granddaughter and grandson-in-law) and Ayden Gard (great-grandson). Graveside Services at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at South Lawn Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers to American Red Cross. Arrangements entrusted to ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, Oro Valley, AZ, 742-7901.
