Died peacefully in his sleep November 12, 2011 after 100 healthy, active years pursuing his loves, sailing, gardening, training, judging dogs, photography, (traveling extensively), square dancing and duplicate bridge. Born in Amarillo, Texas, lived in: Texas, MD, PA, AZ and Mexico. Surviving kin: daughter, Mary Temple Biester; granddaughters, Carolyn Worthington Biester, Shelly Davis Biester Wright and three great-grandchildren, Alexandra Biester and John and Ben Wright.
