Elizabeth Jane Gawlik Our very special angel came into this life on August 31, 1951. Born in Lansing, Michigan to parents, Don and Ruby. She is survived by her forever loving husband, Bob; her son, Travis; daughter, Noelle and her husband, Austin; stepson, Michael and his fiancé, Misty; stepdaughter, Jennifer and her husband, Jason; grandchildren and step- grandchildren, Nathaniel, Cara, Aeden, Mikey, Austin and Treven. She will also be affectionately remembered by her sister, Ruth; sister, Barbara and her husband, Tim; brother, Paul and his wife, Tammy and all their children and grandchildren. Betsy left us all much too soon on July 28, 2012. She was called on to set up an elaborate banquet for the Good Lord, and will be joined at the table by her parents; her cherished daughter, Nicole and both her brother-in-law, Dave and her nephew, Eric. Betsy had many life-loving interests including, immersing herself in the Good Book every morning, followed by a long brisk walk; perfecting her green thumb in our garden; feeding and caring for her hummingbirds and happily coordinating precious time spent with her family and friends. She truly walked with Jesus! A Prayer Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at St. Cyril's Catholic Church, 4725 E. Pima, Tucson. A welcome reception will be held immediately afterwards at Loew's Ventana Canyon Resort, 7000 N. Resort Drive, where we will continue to celebrate and honor Betsy's cheerful and joyful life!
