Elizabeth Suzanne Tracey

Elizabeth Suzanne Tracey "Betty" age 88, passed away at Oro Valley Hospital, Tucson, Arizona, on Sunday, October 25, 2015, after a short illness. Born November 24, 1926, in Olney, Illinois, she married her husband of 63 years and settled down in Iowa City, Iowa. She raised five children, earned a nursing degree from Kirkwood Community College and worked for 16 years at Beverly Manor Nursing Home in Iowa City. In 1990, Betty and her husband retired to Tucson, Arizona. Survivors include her husband, Donald; her brother, John and five children, Patricia, Michael, Teri, Luanne (Donald) and Thomas (Emma). Betty adored her seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Michelle, Michael, Matthew, Edward, Daniel and Thomas as well as her seven great-grandchildren, Noah, Abigail, Emily, Liam, Kayla, Tinsleigh and Josiah. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Merel and Marie Davis; her sister, Marilyn and her brother, William (Ed). Services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, in Tucson.
