Florence Ella Hartung Mom is off to join our Dad, her beloved husband, who greeted her with "What took you so long?!" Florence Ella Davey was born on September 2, 1930, in West Haven, CT. She married Charles Hartung in 1952, and they shared 54 years of marriage before his death in 2007. Flo loved the beach, baseball, one armed bandits, and 2 buck Chuck, but most of all being surrounded by family. She is survived by children, Vikki Doyle (John), Jeff, Scott (Stephanie), Greg (Beth) and Terese Donelson (Dallas). She will be lovingly remembered by all, including nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Nicknamed 'Saint Flo' she was unendingly generous, always putting others first, and a devout Christian. Flo boasted to all, "I have the greatest family in the world." The reason for that, of course, was her. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice . Services will be held at Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church on Saturday, February 1, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
