WOODSWORTH, Gairns (Woody) John III, born August 20th, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois and passed away peacefully on January 31st, 2017. Survived by his wife of 35 years, Kay Woodsworth; their daughter, Cindy Woodsworth and their son's family, Jay, Melanie (wife); grandchildren, Alexis and Austin, Lenny and Pam (sister) Moulin, Richard and Diane (sister) Wakefield and many nieces and nephews. Graduating military academy in Chicago and then proceeded to get his Degree in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University. Having a successful career with his father building custom homes in Tucson, he then moved to Amphitheater School District where for 16 years he served as the Maintenance Manager. Woody enjoyed his hobbies of fishing, camping and collecting miniature race-cars. After retirement, Woody and Kay spent many quality years enjoying each others company and bringing joy and fun to so many of his friends and family. The family will hold a service at the Comanche Wells Clubhouse on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. The Clubhouse is located at 775 West Roger Road, Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Arizona Humane Society. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
