RIDGLEY, Gary Allen, astronomer, fisherman, and "pawpaw" extraordinaire-born in Langley, VA, May 1, 1957, passed away on March 18, 2016, after a courageous struggle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jeannie (Gibson); son, Greg (Melissa); grandsons, Jayden and Jacob; father, Orville (Cheryl); mother, Marilyn (Donovan); brother, Brian and sisters, Cynthia Bennett (Chuck), Sabrina Cruz (Enrique) and Vanesia Davis (Glen). Gary will be greatly missed here on earth, but we know he will be greeted in Heaven with open arms (and a fishing pole!) A private service will be held. We love you Gary!
