Gary Michael Fisher 59, died peacefully on August 23, 2012 at the VA Hospital in Tucson. He is preceded in death by his son, Derek Fisher and sister-in-law, Pam Fisher. He is survived by his daughters, Mandy (Aaron) Oltersdorf and Ondrea (David) Mayberry; parents, Tom and Donna Fisher; siblings, Sally (John) Bates, Bill (Colleen) Fisher and Tim Fisher; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Gary served his country from '71 to '73, graduated from the University of Arizona in '76, and retired from there in '08. He was proud to be a Marine and a Wildcat. He enjoyed being with family, making people laugh, riding his Harley, shooting pool, and hanging with his buddies at The Runway. Gary will reach his final resting place on Friday, October 12, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at The Southern Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Sierra Vista. Everyone is welcome to attend.
