Geraldine Rice

Geraldine "Geri" Rice 91, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2012. Born on January 5, 1921 in Glendale, West Virginia. Preceded in death by her beloved parents, Harry Nelson and Cecile Dinsmore. Geri is remembered for her love of basketball and country music. Geri was office manager for almost half a century at Rice Plumbing until two months ago. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Mindes (Louis) and grandson, Justin Mindes. Geri had numerous friends she called family: Dan Reynolds, Eveline Soto, Gilbert Ramos and Conrad Ramos. She will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. at 10:00 a.m., Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Casa de la Luz Foundation.
