Gordon Guibert 75, died July 17, 2011 with his family by his side in Tucson, AZ. Gordy was born December 14, 1935, in St. Paul, Minnesota to Marcel and Ann Guibert. He was married 51 years to Carol who he met while working as an X-Ray Technician. Together they raised three children, Chris, Catherine and Susan and eventually moved to California. He retired in 2000 and moved to Tucson Arizona where he and Carol have been an active part of the Sun City community. Gordy loved music and was a very skilled concert clarinetist. He especially enjoyed playing with the Tucson Concert band and was very active in the Tucson music community. Gordy also loved traveling with Carol, mentoring, going to the cabin in Wisconsin during the summer and most of all - spending time with his grandkids. Gordy is survived by his wife, Carol; son, Chris; daughter, Catherine; daughter, Susan; grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Josh, Mecah, Jenny and Jace. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Guibert. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Catalina Catholic Church.
