Harry Lundberg

Harry Lundberg 89, passed away at University Medical Center in the early morning hours of August 30, 2012. He was born on January 2, 1923 to Harry and Sophie Lundberg in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Harry courageously stepped forward to serve his country in WWII in the Pacific Theater. Harry was also involved in the American Legion. He was a longtime employee of Lawrence Hickey and Sons as Project Manager/Estimator and Design-Build. He was known to his colleagues for having a "faster than a computer brain", when it came to numbers. After retirement, he became a locally known artist who built and sold Santa Fe style furniture and cabinets, in addition to ceramics. Harry and May also enjoyed traveling, fishing and family. All who knew him will miss him dearly. Harry is survived by his adoring wife of 68 years, May Lundberg; brother, Rich Lundberg; children, Craig (Gail) Lundberg, Diane (Ren) Hinks, Cathy (Bruce) Wright and Brian (Susan) Lundberg; grandchildren, Jessica (Rich) Trump, Trevor Mulligan, Jason Wright, Jorden Wright, Melissa (Josh) Baird, Laura Young and Jessica Young; great- grandchildren, Kayla, Cole, Audrey, Jaxson and Austin.
