Hector Corrales

CORRALES, Hector M. 73 of Tucson, is now in the arms of our dear Lord. He departed on All Saint's Day, November 1, 2016. Hector is survived by his devoted wife of 22 years, Evelyn Flores Corrales. They met in 1st grade and kindled a loving relationship at their 30th High School Reunion. He is also survived by his sons, William, Brian (Celina), Hector Jr. (Andrea) and daughter, Margaret Rose Corrales; sister, Alice Ormsby; brothers, George and Steven (Betty) Corrales and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Estevan Corrales, his mother, Margarita M. Corrales and sister, Helen Nunez. Hector was a member of the Tucson Fire Department where he served 32 years of loyal service and retired as a Captain. He graduated from Tucson High School Class of 1961, and attended the University of Arizona. He was a member of the United States Air National Guard where he was MP. Hector is best known for his extreme talent as a baseball player where he was All City and All State. He also played for the U of A. The family request donations be made to The Last Alarm Foundation, Tucson, AZ. Services will be held as St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1800 N. Camino Pio Decimo, with a viewing on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be held at St. Pius X Church, Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
