James Hart Obituary

James W. Hart passed from this life on March 3, 2015. Jim was born October 10, 1933 in Wheeling, West Virginia and was the third of five children. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Doris Hart. Survived by loving daughter, Nicki (Carl); grandsons, C.C. (Kim), Sean (Ronna); four great-grandsons, two dear sisters, Mary (Ted), Denise (Don) and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1973. During his years in the military, he was exposed to Agent Orange which caused multiple serious health issues that significantly impacted his "golden years". Jim also worked as a US postal worker delivering mail on foot, bag slung over his shoulder because he could walk and talk, two of his favorite things. There was never a stranger Jim ever met, a conversation he didn't join, friend he wouldn't help. Golf was the other woman in his life, until he was unable to walk the course, because real golfers never used carts. The truth was always better embellished and every argument better on the opposite side. Jimmy, we will miss you, always love you. There will be no services per Jims wishes. Any remembrances, please donate to Wounded Warriors in his honor. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel.
