SAMAAN, Jane (Juffras), 98, passed away August 5, 2016 in Framingham, MA. She was the widow of Maurice Samaan, who died in 2012. Born in Dorchester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Tassos and Helen (Nolan) Juffras. She was a loving aunt to Robert and Ann Marie Juffras, a dear grandaunt of William, Megan, Alex and Maddy Juffras, a loving cousin to Angelo and Effie Juffras, and to Helen and Arthur Poulos. Jane was a loving sister-in-law to Mimi Samaan and aunt to Caroline Samaan and Christine Armstrong. Jane grew up in Freeport, NY and had lived in Amagansett, NY and Washington, D.C. before settling in Oro Valley, AZ. She loved to travel and for many years, traveled the world with husband, Maurice while they were employed by the US Agency of International Development. She lived in many countries in Africa, Asia and South America. She led a wonderful and adventurous life and will be greatly missed. Graveside Services on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Holy Hope Cemetery Mausoleum in Tucson, AZ. Arrangements by ADAIR DODGE CHAPEL.
