BURTON, Janet, age 90, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2012. Janet is survived by her son, Paul Burton of Tucson and daughter, Theresa of Phoenix. Janet was preceded in death by her eldest son and her husband, Jim Burton. Janet was born June 1, 1922 in North Dakota. She graduated from the University of AZ with a Bachelor of Science degree. In recent times, until her illness, she enjoyed playing contract bridge with her longtime bridge friends. She loved her home and her German Shepherd animal companions. Janet will be missed.
