Janet D. Leonard 12/17/1941 - 5/5/2013. Janet Leonard, 71, passed away after a long struggle with illness. She leaves behind her sister, Judy (Mike) Zabowsky of Tucson. Janet retired from the VT Legislative Council in 2007 after 31 years of service. Although small in stature, Janet's presence in life was large. Her level of compassion was overwhelming, and the core of her existence was rooted in her love of family and friends. She encountered countless obstacles on her path of life and met them with perseverance, determination, and an inner strength to survive. Visitation will be held Monday, May 13, 2013, at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd. from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
