Jerry W Voss Tucson, Arizona Obituary

Jerry W Voss

VOSS, Jerry W., Sr., 65, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2015 with his wife by his side. Jerry was a retired journeyman plumber who took great pride in his work. Born in Kentucky on September 17, 1950 and raised in Cincinnati, OH, Jerry moved to Tucson, AZ in the 1970's where he resided until his death. Jerry was a deeply private man who loved being at home and was devoted to his family. Jerry was the Heart and Strength of his family. He celebrated and cheered our successes, encouraged us through our failures, comforted us in our sorrows, was at our bedsides during illnesses and carried us through our struggles. The greatest joy of his life during retirement was the time spent with his grandchildren. Jerry shared his passion for motorcycles, quads, old cars and music with the love of his life, his wife, Barbara. Jerry was greatly loved by his family and will be greatly missed. Jerry gave generously of his time and money to anyone in need. He quietly donated to his favorite charities along with providing clothing and tools to young plumbers and co-workers starting out. Jerry is survived by his wife, Barbara; his sons, Jerry Jr. and Jamie; his daughter, Amanda and eight grandchildren. Jerry, we will talk with you in our mind, our hearts will continue to love and long for you, but we know you are now at peace. Be at rest my love until we are together again never to be apart. There will be a private Celebration of Jerry's life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to the Gospel Rescue Mission Tucson. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.
